SES Selected as one of six companies for International Impact at Governor's Trade Excellence Awards



Montgomery, AL, May 20, 2026 - Gov. Kay Ivey honored six Alabama companies for their international impact during the Governor's Trade Excellence Awards.

The awards recognized companies for growth in exports and the state's expanding global reach. Governor Ivey said the companies show the world the depths of Alabama's ability and ingenuity. "From aerospace engineering to sustainable agriculture products to AI innovation, these global exporters show the world the depths of Alabama's ability and ingenuity," Governor Ivey said. State officials said Alabama companies exported $23.7 billion in goods and services in 2025, an increase of nearly 14 percent compared with 2019. The companies shipped products and services to 190 countries. Transportation equipment led export categories at $11.4 billion. That includes cars, aerospace components and ships. "These latest Trade Excellence Award winners are role models that show us how Alabama companies not only compete but thrive among global competition," Commerce Sec. Ellen McNair said.

The 2026 award recipients included “Science and Engineering Services LLC from Huntsville provides aviation support services. The company offers prototyping, manufacturing, maintenance, integration, flight operations, engineering, logistics and training for government and commercial customers in more than 30 countries.”
